Leaders of today... and this point I mean company leaders. CEO´s and Managers. How do you define good leading? Today´s "leading" has change a lot. One thing is for sure leaders have to know many thing´s or they have to pretend that they know ;). What are the key features that she or he have to have...? This is a tough questions and you will get many answer for sure.
My opinion is that today´s leader has to know what they are doing. If you take one course don´t change it everyday you will lose your credibility or at least weaken it. But you have to be able to change the course when ever it is necessary.(But still not everyday...) This is basic but I will say it anyway. You have to get a long with different kind of people and you have to be able to lead them to do their best. Give some space to your workers make them use their brain. If you have too tight "leash" it will kill creativity. But still remember you have to keep track what your staff is doing.
(This is my favorite) Be genuine and inspire your staff. Don´t try to be something that your not. Of course you have to have little role on but don´t take it too far... (If you all ready are Batman don´t try to be Hulk at the same time. Batman is fine :D) and remember respect your staff.
I have a sad example about a company and it´s directors. I will write this later...
